I loved doing my 'May Faves' post last month so thought i'd bring it back for June as there's loads of thing's I've been loving this month!
Beverly Hills Formula 'Perfect white black' toothpaste with activated charcoal
In my May Faves post, i told you guys about Beverly Hills original toothpaste that i loved, and i said that i was looking to buy this one which i did! The toothpaste has activated charcoal in it, which is scientifically proven to be one of the most effective and safest teeth whiteners. The charcoal helps get rid of bacteria (bye bye morning breath) and helps remove tannins- found in things like tea, berries, coffee and wine, all of which stain your teeth. I love this toothpaste, it tastes really nice and keeps my breath fresh all day long!
Garnier Summer Body tinted moisturising lotion
I've used this product on and off for a few years now and while i still love my St Tropez fake tan, this is a really good day-to day product because it builds colour gradually, whereas St.Tropez is more of a quick fix for me. It's really good for keeping the skin moisturised and it smells great too!
Neutrogena Visibly Clear Spot Stress Control daily face wash
I've been working full time lately as i'm not at uni, and the constant late nights were starting to take a toll on my face so i decided to try a new Neutrogena product and i'm really happy with it. The wash is a foamy formula which is really gentle and oil free. Apparently it helps to fight and reduce break up's, and even though i still have a few blemishes here and there it's definitely making a difference. It's gentle enough for daily use and the pump applicator makes it really easy to use.
MAC Eyeshadow in 'Rice Paper'
I'm a massive fan of gold eyeshadow, and whenever i get a palette that tends to be the only one i use so i thought i'd splash out on a mac eyeshadow that would last me a while. I really love this shade as it's really natural for days when i don't want to look too made up, but it also makes a really good base colour for when i go out and want to create a bit of a smoky eye with other shades. I wear this to work nearly everyday and it stays put all day which i never normally find with eyeshadows-especially because i have a fringe. It was £13 but it will last me ages and the quality is definitely worth the price.
Parma Violets candle
Who doesn't love a candle? I picked this super cute one up from a little shop in Leigh a few weeks ago and i love it! The smell is gorgeous and the fragrance really fills the room which is lovely. I also love the packaging, the lid is great because it means i can avoid all the smoke when i blow the candle out.
Two piece pyjama set
I'd had my eye on this adorable pj set from Topshop for a while but i was reluctant to pay the original price, so i was so happy when i spotted it in the sale for a tenner!! It's so comfy and great for walking around the house in this hot weather. I love the material, its really soft and doesn't get too hot in bed which is great.
Skinny Dip phone case
When i saw this phone case in Topshop i couldn't resist, it's so cool! The glitter and stars move around as your phone does- it reminds me of those glittery water cups we used to have as kids. It looks great against my yellow iPhone but the only downside is that it squishes the volume buttons a bit meaning i can't use them when the case is on which is a bit annoying. But its great for when i'm walking around, the case is pretty sturdy and looks amazing! It was pretty pricey at £18 but i won't be buying another one for a long time so why not!
Race for Life
My aunty text me and my cousins a few months back asking us to do the Race for Life as her mum had just been diagnosed with cancer. I didn't even have to think about my answer as so many people are affected by cancer. My nan had it, and even though she recovered fairly quickly compared to others i got a glimpse of what cancer can do to people so why would i say no to raising money to beat it? People's generosity has been great, i think we've raised about £150-200 so far and still raising. We did the race on Sunday and it was brilliant! I'll be doing a full blog post about it soon where you can see some pictures. If you'd like to donate here's the link to our justgiving page.
Suede tassel heels
I couldn't resist these shoes when i spotted them in New Look a few weeks ago. I love the whole seventies vibe that's going on in fashion at the moment and these shoes definitely compliment that. The colour is lovely and the tassels just add a bit of quirkiness which i love. See how i styled them for my brothers engagement party
here.
Lucy Bee coconut oil
I saved the best till last- this stuff has literally saved my life. You can use it for pretty much anything, cooking, frying, baking, moisturising, deodorant, tooth whitener, bath soak, haircare-ANYTHING. I've always suffered really badly with sensitive under arms, especially after shaving and it's been a constant source of embarrassment because they are always red and/or rashy. This stuff was recommended to me by a beautician friend, and i apply it to my under arms after shaving and guess what? No more redness! It's completely gone. The product is completely organic and doesn't contain any bad stuff whatsoever. It can melt in the sun so in this heat i've been keeping it in the fridge during the day then in my room at night as you can re-use it even after it melts. It's a life saver product and you need to get it- i can guarantee you will find your own use for it and never look back.
So there you go! There's all my June faves. Hope you enjoyed the post, let me know in the comments if you have any products you're loving this month!
Happy Sunbathing.
