With the much anticipated release of Disney's Cinderella on the 13th March, it's no surprise that the fashion world are hot on the heels of the films costume designer Sandy Powell, with a belief that sometimes, every girl should feel like a princess.

Disney have recently teamed up with 9 of the hottest footwear designers, who have re-designed the famous glass slipper in their own imaginative ways.
Nicholas Kirkwood, Jimmy Choo, Charlotte Olympia, Salvatore Ferragamo, Stuart Weitzman, Paul Andre, Alexandre Birman, Rene Caovilla and Jerome Rousseau were the designers that took part in the collaboration.

The high street have also cottoned on to the emerging princess trend, saying goodbye to body con and hello to pretty, puffy skirts and dresses that scream youthful femininity. Rihanna donned a giant Giambattista Valli gown for the Grammy's, securing the demand for Cinderella dresses.
