BRIGHTON
So as I've been away from blogging for quite a while now I thought I'd let you know a bit about what I've been up to. In October, me and my best friend went to Brighton for a weekend away and I had such a good time! Here's a little breakdown of what we got up to on each day!
DAY ONE
We got to Brighton by train, and it was such an easy journey! As soon as we got there we got a cab to our Travel Lodge, dumped our bags and went straight to the seafront for a walk and a look around. All along the seafront there's loads of little shops within the arches that sell loads of seaside souvenirs and cute home stuff. After looking along here for a while we walked up to the Brighton Pier and both got Henna tattoos from a really funny guy in a little hut on the middle of the pier. We then headed back to the hotel to unpack before heading off to dinner (I don't have any photos of that but you've all seen Pizza before). After dinner we chilled out in the hotel for a bit before getting ready to go out. We had such a good night and we literally danced all night. Here's what I wore!

DAY TWO
On day two we didn't wake up till about half 11 as we'd been up so late the night before. We got up and dressed pretty quickly and went for breakfast/lunch in a really cool American themed diner on the seafront about 5 minutes walk from our hotel. It was so cool in there, with Elvis Presley playing and waitresses dressed in 50's outfits. I had a sort of Mexican bean and feta wrap with chips which was very lovely. After eating we headed down to the seafront because we'd seen a tarot reader and i was curious to know what it was all about. I've never been to a physic before and I'm not even sure if i believe in it but i was interested to hear what she had to say. I won't bore you with the details but lets just say she was weirdly accurate (and if there are any dark haired guys with an accent that fancy 'changing my life' please come forward). We then took a walk up to the hughstreet for a bit of shopping where I purchased some gorgeous over the knee boots and some Mac makeup (I'll include them in some posts soon) We went to The Lanes, where we enjoyed looking in some of the little shops and went to ChoccyWoccyDooDah where I bought some green tea milk chocolate, odd but so nice!! We then back to the hotel for a few hours to relax with our tea and chocolate (so wild) before going back out again for dinner. After that we went back to the hotel and started getting ready for our second night, which was almost as good as the first!!

DAY THREE
Day three wasn't really a whole day, we pretty much got up, got ready and left the hotel pretty quickly. On our way to the station we found this really cute little italian cafe that was almost like a farm cafe, very organic and rustic looking. I had a tomato, mozzarella and spinach foccachia (kind of like a panini) After that we headed back to the train station, where we would get the train to Bexhill (about 30 minutes away) to visit my grandparents who I haven't seen for ages. We stayed for dinner with my parents who had driven up, and after a few hours we set off home. Me and Rachel were asleep for the majority of the journey home, the weekend had definitely tired us out but it was the best one I'd had in a while. It was so nice to have some time off work to spend with my best friend, I had a chance to let my hair down a bit and enjoyed every minute.
