I've had this cutout aztec skater dress from Topshop for a while now, and it's always been my classic go-to piece in my wardrobe as its so easy to layer. I just love how the cutouts in the straps give it a bit of a cooler, more interesting edge. The weather lately has been extra cold as we all know, so I layered it up with a chunky cardigan and this gorgeous faux-sheep skin coat. My head was also feeling pretty cold that day so I threw on this hat which is a favourite of mine, as it goes with everything and brings a bit of edginess to an outfit. I think the moral of this outfit (can an outfit have a moral?) is that a summer dress can always be adapted for the winter by adding a few trusty knits!
