LONDON FASHION WEEK DAY TWO

By 03:23

Here are my favourite shows from day two of London Fashion week!

BORA AKSU

Bora Aksu has been a firm favourite of mine for years now, and i absolutely loved this collection. Models floated down the runway in angelic sheer panelled skirts, cute boxy jackets, featherweight cigarette trousers and crochet dresses. The palette of choice was perfect for a summers day, with a smattering of gorgeous prints in ice cream shades of pink, blue, grey, yellow and red. The overall effect for me echoed the feel of a Midsummer Night's Dream, and the clothes definitely wouldn't look out of place draped round the tiny body of a Shakespeare fairy.

DAKS

A Daks collection is one that screams sophistication, and this one delivered that, while giving a pretty big nod to the 70's with suede jackets, slashed necklines, billowing maxi dresses and a clash of wallpaper prints. An essence of the twenties and thirties were evident too, in micro patterned blouses and art deco style pleated dropped waists. Glamour ruled from start to finish.

A pretty small amount of favourites for day two, but despite there being a lot of shows i liked, these were the only ones that really stood out for me.
