Yesterday all of my family gathered at my aunties house to say goodbye to my cousin as he's going off to Uni in a few weeks. I thought I'd do a really quick post on what i wore, and tell you a bit about my day!

I love mixing up different textures, and this classic denim dress is perfect as the light colour means its really easy to style. As you've probably all noticed, the weather is turning pretty chilly so i put on my suede tasselled jacket (aka my new best friend) to keep the cold weather at bay. I thought i'd make the most of it not being absolutely freezing yet and kept my legs bare but compensated for it by digging out my trusty ankle boots (oh how i've missed you!) and wearing a thick pair of socks. I've recently bought a new rucksack which was perfect for chucking in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt for when it got really cold later on.

I had a really lovely day! My auntie did an amazing spread of BBQ food for everyone and we sat outside under the marquee-we are still in denial that Summer is over- eating and drinking (lots) of pimms-SO British. Then, later on, all of the women piled into the living room to watch Strictly Come Dancing while playing 'Strictly Bingo' which got VERY loud. Later on, we all went back into the marquee and shared blankets while eating our body weight in cheese and biscuits. It's was a lovely way to say goodbye and good luck to my cousin. I'll miss him.
