Today was a kind of 'throw it on and go' outfit as I was (slightly) hungover after going out last night. The weather was nearly acceptable and as I have a slight tan at the moment-very unusual for me- i decided to brave it and subject the whole of Leigh to my legs. This dress is really good for between seasons as the hem falls just below the knee so you're okay if it isn't really warm. One of my favourite things to do when putting together an outfit is to mix up the textures so i added my denim jacket on over the top to dress it down a bit. I added this gorgeous little satchel from Topshop as I absolutely love the whole metallic accessories thing going on at the moment (have a look at the post i did about Metallic bags and accessories a while ago) and it offsets the colour of the dress. I like the colour of this dress as it's so easy to accessorise and the light shade of grey means its perfect for Summer but can also be worn in the Winter with a leather jacket as well. My favourite aspect of this dress is the super cute tulle skirt, it adds a bit of character to the dress and I'm not one for wearing tight clothes so it's a good compromise for me!
