This trend was presented in a variety of ways by designers during fashion week. The look can be approached in different ways depending on how brave you are with makeup. You can go full Wednesday Addams with painted black lips like Giles, or opt for a more subtle take on the look with a black smokey eye and neutral lips as seen at Giorgio Armarni and Diane von Furstenberg.

Another big beauty trend that i noticed was a very natural look, fresh faced with just a flush of colour on the lips and cheeks, and barely-there mascara. This is good news for girls that enjoy not wearing much make up, and is a look that compliments the 70's boho trend for Spring/Summer really well. Topshop Unique and Donna Karan ditched the bold eyebrow trend in favour of much more natural, subtle brows, while Christopher Kane and Jonathon Saunders opted for thicker, fuller brows. Despite varying where the eyebrows are concerned, all of these designers and more were in agreement that this season, less is definitely more.
