THE GIRL BAG
Karl Lagerfield has designed a brand new bag for Chanel, aptly titled 'The Girl Bag', following the massive success of his previous themed bag collections 'Boy Chanel' and '11.12'. The new collection is a bit different from the usual Chanel bags as it doesn't include the signature double c-clasp and quilted leather that we are so used to seeing. The bag is made from lambskin and draws inspiration from the classic and iconic Chanel Suit by focusing the design of the bag around fake pockets and gold buttons with the chanel logo engraved on them. In the pictures below, Vanessa Paradis, Kristen Stewart and Alice Dellal model all three collections of the bag.
My personal favourite is the Boy bag. I love the structured look, and the variations of prints, colours and materials make each one look unique. In saying that, i do really like the comfortable, slouchy appeal of the Girl Bag.
