The incredibly popular eye makeup brand Eyeko, fronted by Alexa Chung, opened a brand new bespoke mascara wardrobe bar in Harvey Nicholls just yesterday. Nina and Max Leykind, the brains behind the brand- launched the idea with an intention of creating the perfect mascara. In the core range, there are six mascaras, all of which do different things; but in the mascara bar there is over 100 different formula's and brushes, each catered to an individual customers needs. The process works by assigning a customer to their own lash stylist and mascara editor, who, along with a team of experts, will help to figure out what mascara is best for you, and advise you on how to take care of your lashes. The session costs £28, and that includes your mascara, a personalised box, and a mirror and lash comb. I think this is a pretty reasonable price, considering that an off-the-peg mascara from Eyeko is normally priced at £15-20.
