BURBERRY PRORSUM
I loved Burberry's collection at London Fashion week so much that i decided to do a separate blog post on it, as i had so many photographs of it.
This seasons Burberry collection is one of my all time favourites, and it had a carefree and liberated feel that was reminiscent of the sixties summer of love. Fringing was definitely the star of the show this year, with heavily fringed ponchos taking precedence over the famous Burberry trench. There was whimsical folk dresses, suede patchwork boots, quilted floral jackets, and trench coats dripping in fringing. Teal, maroon, olive and magenta were among the many colours to give a romantic and mysterious feel. There was something here for every taste, and this show definitely seals the deal on the sixties/seventies boho trend carrying on into Autumn Winter. Moral of the story? I NEED to get myself a pair of those boots.
