LOOK OUT FOR: WÅVEN
While flipping through my Asos magazine, I came across an article about a brand new, Scandinavian influenced denim-based brand, Wåven. They describe themselves as a 'modernist brand focusing on clean simplistic lines.' They take inspiration from architecture, the arts and geometry, and pride themselves on making denim that is well made with a quality finish.
I love how contemporary and minimalistic the website is, given that the product they are selling is denim it would be easy to go for something old fashioned looking and samey. Instead they've opted for a fresh white look- and there's lots of information on there so you can find out about the brand. They even go through the process that they follow to make the products, and also show sketches of each style of jean with a description of the fit, which i think adds a really nice personal touch.
The prices for jeans range from £46-£52 for women, and from £49-£55 for men. I think this price point is pretty good considering the quality of the product. With denim set to be one of the biggest trends of the Summer, it's not surprising that Wåven has started to catch people's attention.
