I always used to get so embarrassed when my dad walked around the house in socks and sandals (he was banned from going outside in them, but it was still hideous) but it seems that the odd pairing are making a huge comeback in time for summer. You can go for stripes and monochrome to really nail the sporty trend going on right now, or keep it kitsch and cute with a frilly sock. Popular colour pairings are orange socks with brown wedges for a seventies spin, or pairing a colourful print with a neutral colour for balance.
