STREET STYLE: SNEAKERS
I've never been the biggest fan of trainers, but over the past few years I've noticed how trainers are not only worn now for sportswear, but they have become a key element in the fashion world. Here are a few street style pictures of some different styles of sneakers from around the world.
ARTY
Trainers are decorated in brushstrokes, graffiti graphics and digital designs, in multicoloured palettes.
SNEAKER LUXE
Designers such as Chanel and Y-3 have branched out into active footwear and are dominating the worlds streets. My favourites are the Chanels on the bottom left.
I CAN SEE A RAINBOW
A huge variety of bright electric colours are mixed together in mainly ombré or colour blocking. The colours that are most popular are classic primary palettes and neon colours.
SLIP
The slip on style sneaker isn't one we are unfamiliar with now, as this particular shoe has been on the hughstreet for a few seasons now. It's popular amongst men and women and is made in all kinds of materials, colours and prints.
FABRICS
Everything from hi-tops to runners and slip ons are adorned this season with a variety of fabrics such as tweed, boucle and houndstooth wovens for a fresh take on the sneaker.
